A
delicate restoration work of an old stone house in the
village of Fres.The historical-artistic elements featuring the building- such as the great stone arch inside it- were preserved and restored.
At the same time, new spaces were designed within the existing building, to transform it into a modern and comfortable home.
ALIKIANOS
The
very first priority of our clients was privacy:
they asked us to design a haven for them, a home conveying
the feeling of privacy and seclusion featuring the area: the
plot of their choice is located in the inland, far away from
the coastline. It is a level area, with large orange groves,
and a stunning view to the White Mountains.Therefore in designing this we had purpose of securing the privacy of its owners, but without sacrificing the view and the wonderful light the place offers. The result is a building with soft, wavy lines integrating indoor and outdoor spaces.
Outdoor, the stone pavement offers a pleasant transition between the house and the orange grove surrounding it.
